About Us

Girls to Women is a network of Girls and Women that came out of the passion to see girls grow into their full potential with the support of women who have worked the walk and have experience in a different area of life.

Girls to Women was founded on the 1st of February 2020 with the support of Diversity Business Incubator by Mrs Liliane Uwimana (HR Manager at Diversity Business Incubator) and with the support of few girls who felt passionate about the building the network.

It is not easy to be a girl or a woman and grow in a society that demands much from you with no navigation at all. So the network is to create a platform for girls to explore different gifts that they may have and have a space to share what they are experiencing either high or low. Given a safe space girls can become more than who they are. They can build trust in themselves and resilience to overcome difficulties as they occur.

We are hopeful for the girls of tomorrow and for the women who will be supporting them. G2W is a big support bubble that allows everyone to be in touch with themselves.

The movement was founded based on a passion to see girls evolve and navigate the complexity of life with more skills and support from women who have worked the walk.

Mrs Liliane Uwimana believes that shared experiences are very transformative and they go forward; they are going to keep that in their minds going forward with G2W
